1) cannot buy a pet
2) cannot work a pet

I am having trouble with my home page and working pets as well. And when I do get into my home page which does not happen very often I can't see any second level screens (working, wishlist, home page, etc.). I hit the 2 and the whole screen goes blank. Not sure what is going on. I am using Mozilla with the latest patches.

Inappropriate?When I click on the Buy For tab to buy friends, nothing happens. I have tried clicking all over the tab, I have tried using a different computer. I have tried numerous things and I know my computer is updated, so apparently there is something wrong on your end. From what I see there has been numerous issues in the past.

if you got # in end of the link then try to open a new tab 2 or 3 and reload ur page it will work :)

someone had this problem last week (Jan 2010).. i checked her account (let's call her "Anne") several times a day for 3 days and Anne still had the same problem.. Anne bought the pet last, the pet's photo was on her FFS profile, and in the pet's feed it showed that Anne was the last investor to buy the pet.. However, Anne could not work the pet, and the pet's profile picture was also in the previous Buyer's FFS portfolio. So, it was unknown who owned the pet.
this is a common problem that has been happening off and on randomly since beginning 2008.
the general excuse for this is that it happens when there is a FFS server database lag.. normally, it takes 24hrs to a few days for the database in these situations.. to catch up
THE SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM:
was that a 3rd party investor had to buy the pet. once this transaction occurred, "the game" reset back to normal game play and Anne got all her lost $ back.. was able to work all her pets..

If you are having trouble buying/working a pet, here are a few things you can try:
1) Change your default web broser. If you are using Internet Explorer, I suggest you to try a new updated net browser such as:
***Mozilla Firefox: http://www.firefox.com/
**Google Chrome: www.google.com/chrome
*Safari: www.apple.com/safari
2) Clear your Browser Cache/Cookies
If you do not know how, please click the link below.

3) Reinstall Friends For Sale Application.

4) Try Force Refreshing. This will cause the browser to re-check with the web server to make sure it has the latest copy of the web page you are viewing:
* Mac/Apple: Apple + R or Cmd + R
* Windows: Ctrl + F5
* Linux: F5
5) Try an alternate location that has a different Internet Service Provider. If it works, then the issue is with your local network.
6) Try a different computer. If it works, then the issue is within your computer settings.
7) Submit a Ticket.

Inappropriate?same here....all of a sudden can't work a pet or buy a pet. have always had trouble working pets always have to refresh, refresh, refresh..then works half the time!. first time to have problems buying a pet...this only started today.
I use google chrome and browser has been cleared.
