Chris,
that is so strange! Your email arrived in our mailbox, with the attachment.
Just tested right now, the emails go through without problems.
Concerning your remark about the 'read only'. That is the setting on the poken, this is absolutely normal.
Will let you know more about the html file asap.
Cheers

This seems very strange indeed. Could you send us the html file that can be found on your poken? This way we will be able to see whether there are contacts on the poken. Please send it to info@poken.com.
We'll get to the bottom of this...

Hi Chris
Sorry to hear about your troubles! Let's check how you are synchronizing your poken with your poken account, how are you tempting to upload your contacts?
Log into your account. Enter the poken into your USB port, and then click on the orange 'detect' button in the right-hand corner of the website. It should then say 'poken connected'. Make sure that Java is enabled in your browser, it is needed to sync your contacts.
Does this help you further? You have to upload your contacts every time in order for them to appear in your timeline and contact list.
Let me know how this goes!
Cheers

Hi Keven
There are a couple of things we can check together to see if you have successfully pokened at Omniture.
So every time you pokened with someone, did the green light glow?
When you are logged in your poken account, enter the poken into the USB port of your computer, and then press the orange 'detect' button that can be found in the top right corner of the webpage. Make sure that the browser you are using has Java enabled (Java does not work on Chrome for Mac yet). After successfully syncing your poken and uploading your contacts, you should see that the 'detect' button has changed to showing a green glow in the poken hand, and there will be a number in a red circle next to it, indicating how many contacts have been uploaded. You will see your uploaded contacts in the timeline just below, and in the contact list below the timeline, if you scroll down.
Let me know if this helps you further?

Hi Gina Marie!
Poken really is that easy - don't expect it to be complicated! ;-) Just hold two pokens together for 1, 2 seconds as Peter Shankman did - and if the green light glows, you are connected! Then plug the USB part into a USB of any computer, go look for the poken in your USB port and double-click on the Start_Poken file... and it will tell you from there on, what to do. You sign up for an online account, and will be able to organize your collected contacts in there. Every time you pokened someone new, you plug in your poken and synchronize it in your online account.
Concerning your reseller question - please send an email to reseller@poken.com and our sales team will take it from there.
Cheers & high-four!

Hi Miles!
This seems odd, never heard of a case like this. Could you send us the html file that can be found on your poken to info@poken.com, so we can investigate this more closely?
Cheers!
Simone Kuhn replied on March 06, 2010 10:45 to the problem "xing problem" in Poken:
Hi Marco!
Sorry to hear about your troubles. So you are NOT using the user name you usually use for logging into Xing, right? Because you should not use this user name, but the profile name that appears if you go to 'Profile' in you Xing account. This is different from your user name.
So please confirm you are entering your profile name into the field on poken.com, not the entire URL?
If this is the case, we will have to check the OAuth access to Xing, perhaps it might be broken.

Really sorry that this isn't as you expected. But even with our site not being beta anymore, this feature will stay as it is, because that is the point of a promotional/branded poken.
Concerning your troubles of adding Twitter, can you tell me a bit more about it? It seems fine when we test it with different browsers. You verify your account so it adds the logo to the poken card, and then you press 'save' - and the Twitter icon is not on the poken card anymore? What kind of OS and browser are you using? Is this the only social network you are having problems adding to the poken card?

Hi!
Per definition, the 'event' branded pokens have DEFAULT settings, this means that you cannot change the background and font colors.
If you want to create your own background and font colors, you would have to de-link the Mirai poken from your account, and create a new card then. That way, your poken account will not be part of the Mirai default settings anymore.
I will let the engineers check the Friendster issue, there might be a bug if you cannot add it correctly.
Cheers!
