A comment on the idea "Cue sheet support" in Songbird:
http://www.regeert.nl/cuesheet/ -15000+ cue sheets for your music
search for armin van buuren :b

Each and everyone of the results are legal. The great majority contain cue sheets. Bittorrent is a recognized method for the distribution of that radio show.
"Van Buuren currently hosts a weekly radio show called "A State of Trance"[2] and claims to have over 30 million weekly listeners in more than 40 countries, which would make it the most listened to radio show in the world." - Wikipedia Armin Van Buuren article (with reputable source)
This is not just for the music you get online, it is also for archival purposes. The technology allows you to have the tracks ordered correctly with the correct amount of gap and More importantly, it allows you to have DJ mixes virtually split at the transition points and tag those points with a name.
It is hard to justify why the media industry doesn't provide decent music for download. Currently iTunes provides music at 256kbps mp3, the highest you can get legally is 360kbps mp3. On more nefarious sources you can find a plethora of songs at full quality uncompressed 44100kbps 16bit, and many 192kbps 24 bit 7.1 surround sound music that will make any audiphile bow to his knees. Its so sad when private interests crumple technological advance. – Oldarney, on January 24, 2010 19:06
Oldarney marked one of Spinner's replies in Songbird as useful. Spinner replied to the question "How to uninstall Songbird 1.3b?". Oldarney and 3 other people think it's one of the best replies.
