Wildheaert_Baby: Oooh, good point. I keep forgetting about the webapp. Though, it'd be nice to have a cleaner sign-out option in the native app :) – Nik Fletcher, on February 23, 2010 11:26

Hi Brian
Just a quite addition to this :) My girlfriend signed into Gowalla on my phone over the weekend (v1.4) and I'm now receiving my own checkins as push notifications too. I'll run through the 'leave the username / pw field blank' routine now, but just wanted to let you know this still exists!
Cheers

HI Eric
The LittleSnapper iPhone app is now being worked on by a third-party and this will be fixed in the replacement - Cinder - which is coming soon.

Hi Jacob
Thanks for your message. Are you trying to drag it to a smart collection instead of a regular (green-icon-ed) collection? As Smart Collections aren't directly editable through drag and drop to place a snap in a smart collection you need to make sure the snap meets the Smart Collection rules in question.
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Kind regards,
Nik

Nik Fletcher replied on January 14, 2010 17:05 to the idea "Push notifications based on proximity" in Gowalla:
The ability to have Gowalla dynamically turn on and off push notifications for people within a specified radius would be great. So: "I want notifications from friends who are in the same country / state / city only".
This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
Radius-based settings for Push Notifications.

Nik Fletcher reported a problem in Gowalla on January 14, 2010 10:11:
Website Login PromptsWhenever I receive an email notifying me of a friend request, it includes a link to gowalla.com/friends. However. As Gowalla has no 'Keep Me Signed In' option (or if the site is meant to automatically keep me signed in, it doesn't work!), it redirects me to a page that simply says "When you sign-up, all of your Gowalla-playing friends can be found here."
It's a real pain to have to then click 'Sign In' at the top of the page. Is there any chance that the Gowalla Web site would, in future, say "hey you need to sign in" and let me do so on the page that I'm attempting to access, without having to click the Sign In link?
I appreciate this is a small gripe, but it drives me **nuts** :)
